The mandate for this project was to recreate and modernize the original Quebec Maple Syrup Can packaging. I took the opportunity to also create complementary packaging for the different varieties of Maple Syrup currently on the market.
LOGO DESIGN
I wanted to keep similar elements from the original can design; I chose the well-known winter cabin and Canadian maple leaf.
I decided to design a cabin roof to embody how the brand is the "top" quality and to keep the cozy winter cabin feel. Since there are four varieties of maple syrup, I decided to divided the cabin roof into 4 quadrants to represent each.
As the packaging needs to be bilingual, I integrated the maple leaf stem to seamlessly connect with the name, as there is an accent on the "E" in French.
